‘I loved the big drum’ Morgan (aged 6)
Tickets are on sale now!
Tickets for the January 2026 concerts will go on sale in September at the dates given below. As we are very aware of the financial pressures facing schools and parents, we are keeping ticket prices at the same level as last year.
Don’t forget to download the music and audio track of the audience participation song so you can practise it with the children!
Financial assistance towards the cost of coach hire will be available for state schools attending any venue, up to 65% of the coach hire cost. After tickets go on sale we advise state schools to scroll down to the section on coach funding below, and to enquire about available funds before tickets are purchased.

Assistance with travelling costs
Before the concert state schools should first contact Elizabeth Curtis at admin@childrensconcerts.org.uk giving an estimate of your coach hire cost (please provide two quotes), the number of children, and which concert you will attend, and then after the concert you can fill in and return a claim form with a copy of your paid invoice to obtain funding for up to 65% of the coach hire cost. Funds are limited and are awarded on a first come first served basis. We must have received your claim by 1 March 2026. Our funders this year are the Calleva Foundation, the Foyle Foundation, Bedhampton Charitable Trust, The Humphrey Richardson Taylor Charitable Trust, The Colles Trust and the Sussex Community Foundation.
Safeguarding
While the Children’s Concerts charity and the venues will do everything possible to provide a safe environment, it is the responsibility of the school to ensure that appropriately trained staff/volunteers in adequate numbers are in attendance to provide for the safety and well-being of their pupils. For individual children attending concerts, the safeguarding responsibility is with the accompanying parents/guardians.
Refunds
Refunds will only be offered if a performance is cancelled by the Trustees. In the event of a performer falling ill the Trustees will endeavour to employ a replacement rather than cancel a performance. In abnormal conditions the Trustees will be guided by the published notices of the relevant Local Authorities and the advice of the venue manager in assessing the safety of travel and access to the venue. In the event of a cancellation of a performance, the Trustees will inform attending schools by email or, on the day, by telephone. The Trustees will try to reschedule any cancelled concert, but should a school not wish to attend on the new date(s) offered then a refund will be made. Where an administration fee has been charged by the venue, this part of the ticket cost will not be refunded by Children’s Concerts, but rather a separate refund may be requested by the school directly from the venue. Children’s Concerts is insured by Making Music Insurance Services. Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights.
